AUCTION DAY TERMS

CASH OR GOOD CHECKS ACCEPTED

Payments may be made with Cash or good check. To pay with check, you will be asked to provide the registration/cashier with a valid driver's license or current state issued photo ID. If these forms of ID are not available, you will have to pay CASH for your auction items. You must also provide your current telephone number if it is not printed on your check.

10% BUYER'S FEE

Belle City Auctions charges a 10% Buyer's Fee which is added to the final hammer price of all items sold. 

15% BUYER'S FEE FOR PROXIBID.com SALES

  You can bid and shop from the comfort of your home! There is a 15% buyers fee that is charged for internet sales, plus all shipping/handling, insurance charges. We normally charge $2.00 over actual cost of shipping your item(s) to you, PER PACKAGE, especially if you win a number of larger lots that must be packed in separate containers. Otherwise we do combine shipping costs for the smaller items and you will only be charged the $2.00 over actual shipping cost for the one package. Insurance is required for all online purchases, no matter how small, and you will be charged for that. We use your credit card that is on file with Proxibid.com to charge your purchases. You will receive your invoice from us - possibly 2 - the first will have your winnings only, the 2nd will be sent when we have your order packed and ready to ship out. It will contain the final total for you that's charged to your credit card.

We often do Timed Auctions on Proxibid.com where there is online bidding only, so check the Next Auction page to see if a catalog is online now. Shipping/handling/insurance charges apply as stated above.

NFS CHECK POLICY

Belle City Auctions employs CybrCollect, Inc. - a Non-Sufficient Funds (NFS) check recovery company. In the unlikely event that your check is returned for Insufficient or Held Funds, CybrCollect will debit your checking account electronically for the face amount of the check PLUS a fee of $35. This policy allows CybrCollect, Inc. to resolve the problem without reporting you to a credit bureau and harming your credit rating. The transaction will appear on your bank statement, and no one will have to contact you about payment.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL

All items are sold with no guarantees or warranties. All items are sold "AS IS" "WHERE IS" as "FINAL SALES" - so please take full advantage of the one hour viewing before the sale starts. Winning bidders are responsible for the safekeeping of their items once they win an item - Belle City Auctions is NOT responsible for items once the "hammer falls." All auction items MUST be removed from the auction site by the winning bidders within one hour of the auctioneer declaring that bidding has ended on the final auction item, and the auction day has been concluded.

RESERVES AND MINIMUM STARTING BIDS

Belle City Auctions has the right to set reserves and minimum starting bids on any items not sold as part of an "Absolute Auction." The auctioneer has the right to refuse a starting bid offered by a registered bidder, if she deems it is inappropriate, and could be damaging to Belle City Auctions or the consignors' best interests.

SALES TAX EXEMPT STATUS

To apply for sales tax exempt status, you must bring your Sales for Resale Certificate and show it to the registration clerk. You will be asked to fill out two forms. The first is a card for the auction day file, and the second is the official Wisconsin tax exempt form that will be kept on file in my office. Once you have complied with these requests, you will be on record with me, and there's no need to fill out these forms again.
